AUSN Announces 28 Undergraduate
Scholarship Winners for 2024

In celebration of academic excellence, the Association of the U.S. Navy (AUSN) has awarded 28 scholarships to outstanding sons and daughters of our members for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The AUSN scholarship program is an AUSN member benefit and is designed to support promising students as they pursue an undergraduate degree or vocational/technical school training. AUSN especially encourages applicants interested in Navy or military service and those pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, math, and related fields.

This year’s scholarship recipients hailed from 18 states coast to coast, as well as Hawaii and a military base abroad. From nuclear engineering to nursing, each recipient’s major shows the many specialties our modern Navy requires.

AUSN scholarships are sponsored in part by Delta Dental, which helped fund the undergraduate goals of 10 students this year who are seeking nursing, psychology, biomedical engineers, exercise science and other health and medical degrees.

AUSN’s Southwest Region also offered two scholarships to deserving students through its named scholarship program, CAPT Richard W. Hendel Scholarship Award
