CBS: Russians struggling to take Ukrainian cities

Russian military forces will continue to struggle to capture Ukrainian cities because cities that resist are very tough to take, AUSN Executive Director Jason Beardsley told CBS News.
“Nobody’s been good at this since World War II. Taking a city is not easy, and when we did it last Baghdad, Kabul, Mogadishu – we… found ourselves at the vulnerabilities of the insurgencies, guerilla warfare, IED campaigns, sniper attacks.”
“So this means all the advantages go to the folks in defense, that’s the Ukrainians.”
