Any eligible officer may communicate with the Apply selection board. Any communication must arrive to the board the day before the board convenes. The communication may include as enclosures, correspondence form any individual (third party) concerning the eligible officer. No DIRECT third party correspondence is allowed. Classified correspondence will not be accepted.
The standard address used for sending communications to the board is:

The letter format follows Navy correspondence. An example is attached below.
