January 2009 NRA News

by CAPT Mileva M. Hartman, USN

Resolutions are considered at all Naval Reserve Association National Conferences. Your input is an important part of the Resolutions process.

Resolutions must be timely, concise, and include sufficient background information. Resolutions must be submitted 30 days in advance of the Spring and Fall National Conferences.

Any member may propose a resolution which should address a legislative or policy issue related to the missions and goals of our organization. Resolutions are received, reviewed, and processed by the National Resolutions Committee. Resolutions may also be drafted by any national committee, but will be reviewed by the Resolutions Committee.

For more information about our resolutions process, go to http://www.ausn.org/default.aspx?tabid=271.
