The Department of the Navy (DON) soon will approve the use of iPhones, iPads, Android-based mobile devices and BlackBerry-based tablets on the unclassified networks of the Navy and Marine Corps Action being taken mainly in response to demand from its personnel, according to the Navy’s CIO office.
