Navy Personnel Command (PERS-912) has terminated to crediting of NROTC cruise points based on a legal opinion that was provided them. Additionally, those officers who have been credited cruise points and have not reached age 60, will have the points removed from the retirement point total. NPC (PERS-912) should inform each officer by letter if points are removed.

Whether you picked up early Social Security benefits or plan to wait until age 66, if you are still working and enrolled in an employer health plan, you need to contact your local Social Security office at age 65 and properly defer Medicare Part B.
