The U.S. Department of Defense Civilian Expeditionary Workforce (CEW) that deploys civilians to Afghanistan to assist U.S. Forces and the Afghan authorities currently has an immediate need to fill 350 positions in Afghanistan, especially in such areas as linguist (Urdu), electrical engineering, safety, intelligence, logistics, public affairs, contracting, planning, and governance.

CEW Supports US Forces
- US Forces in Afghanistan are increasingly dependent on DoD civilians in theater
- DoD civilians are deploying forward and working side-by-side with their military counterparts
- CEW supports approximately 500 positions, and that number is expected to grow significantly. Immediate need is to fill 350 positions.
- CEW fills positions for a variety of skill sets required in Theater – most are specialized and highly paid.
Become a Part of CEW
- DoD can quickly hire civilians for deployment to Afghanistan

- Term-limited appointment for up to 4 years
- Must meet medical standards & have or be eligible for a clearance

- 35% differential for hazardous duty
