Board for Correction of Naval Records (BCNR) - The BCNR process is often described as a court of last result. Why? The petitioner is obligated to exhaust all administrative avenues in seeking correction before petitioning BCNR. Hundreds of Navy officers, both Active and Reserve, petition BCNR each year to resolve errors or injustices. As with all things, some petitioners are granted relief; some are not.

Safekeeping Documents - Safeguarding your Naval career documents is an important element to ensure your career history is preserved and correctly documented. This can be extremely critical for surviving family members. As a member service, the Association is accepting photocopies of your DD214, NOE, RCSBP election, and retirement orders for safekeeping at Headquarters.
