Heinrich Introduces Bill To Help Military Families Extend Health Care Coverage To Their Children

U.S. Representative Martin Heinrich (NM-1) has introduced H.R. 4923, the TRICARE Dependent Coverage Extension Act, a bill that would increase the maximum age to 26 at which our troops and military retirees are allowed to provide health coverage to their dependent children.

AUSN Writes Congressional Leadership on 21% Cut in Medicare and TRICARE Payments

A 21% cut in Medicare and TRICARE payments to doctors took effect on Monday, March 1, because Congress failed to change current law. Congress may be preparing to act - temporarily. Congress can still avoid these cuts in payments that do effect TRICARE and TRICARE for Life beneficiaries. These cuts can be avoided, if Congress enacts legislation to delay/change these cuts within the next two weeks.

Please contact your legislators urging them to make this essential fix for Medicare and TRICARE beneficiaries; use our CONTACT CONGRESS function under advocacy.
