The Naval Reserve Association supported this initiative early, and pushed our alliances and members to support the initiative. We worked directly with Senator Stevens staff to muster as much support as possible to ensure passage late in the legislative year of the 109th Congress. This initiative will assist all military members to lower phone calls to home, and it is good to see that Congress and the FCC has made it available to all service members.
