What AUSN Did for You in 2009, What AUSN Will Fight For in 2010

I am a gray area Reserve retiree.

I would like to obtain TRI-Care for my family and self.
How do I go about getting the TRI-Care health plan?

I have contacted my local office and was told to "wait"
until they send something to me.

That was back in OCT 2009.

I am still waiting?

If anyone knows the proper procedure for obtaining TRI-Care health service
for gray area retirees could they please contact me and help me and possibly
others out there in the GARR (gray area retired ranks)

You've probably already researched info at the website (http://www.tricare.mil/mybenefit/home/overview/Eligibility). I believe the legislation was just passed with the FY10 NDAA and details are still being worked out - may be several months before the plan is actually in place.
