The National Military and Veterans Alliance (NMVA) wrote to Congressmen Tim Walz and Tom Latham in support of the Honor America’s Guard-Reserve Retirees Act. This bill extends veteran status to servicemembers in the Reserve Components who have served twenty or more years, but who were not recalled to active duty status long enough to qualify as a veteran under Title 38.
AUSN is an active participant in the Alliance.
